Ms Scott calling herself a Pastor is not my problem. This is not a sexist comment it is a fact of GOD’s WORD! Now, if Pastor Scott feels differently and her congregation follows her that is their choice! Paul was told by God, if they do things differently, ok that is there choice as long as the true gospel is being taught Salvation is only through Jesus the Christ! If there are no qualified men then an exception would be allowed until a qualified and CALLED man is available. Men should be the Pastor, Bishop, and Elder over a congregation. I have followed the principals of exegetical and hermeneutic study and believe God wants men to take a stand and be leaders (this is where Adam failed). I have investigated the issue of a woman Pastor as per 1 Timothy chapters 2 and 3. I just started watching her and I have yet see her teach anything inappropriately. I am troubled that the New King James, New American Standard, and NIV are all copywrited and technically you are suppose to get the copywriters permission to use it for any purpose than personal reading, just like music. I further believe that the King James 1611, 4th revision, the New King James version, and the New American Standard version are the most correct version, and then the NIV is perhaps the most accurate in today’s standard English. God the Holy Sprit guided men through the Canonization process to choose the truly God breathed words to be the Holy Bible. Yes, I believe the Bible in its original text is the inerrant word of God. Due to that experience I can certainly understand why Pastor Melissa Scott and any other Minister (more so if your ministry is very public) remains Guarded. I know what it is like to live in a fish Bowl and have those who thought they knew what was right criticize and demand perfection of me. I served as a Pastor /Missionary, and hospital Chaplain for a total of 20 years active and 3 years inactive due to a disabling illness. So many people with twisted thoughts and ideas I am amazed at the lack of wisdom and the egotistical moronic attitude some people have, this include those with PhDs’ and any other ‘advanced’ degree! I am by definition a fundamental Judaic-Christian. In researching Pastor Melissa Scott to determine her position on the Doctrines of the Christian Faith I found so much other than what I was looking for regarding this matter.
